Throughout my career, I have built a strong track record of leveraging technology and design to improve people’s lives in meaningful ways, while growing business impact.
With 12+ years of experience, I’m a design leader who is energized by breaking down complex problems into impactful solutions, influencing strategies through compelling human-centered storytelling, and guiding teams to execute on a shared vision.
While my experience includes building many different kinds of products, I’ve been particularly focused on multi-sided marketplace companies for the past 7 years, working in both Design Lead and Product Design Manager roles. I’m currently at Lyft, focused on top priority strategic initiatives that impact both Riders and Drivers. Previously, I worked at Instacart, supporting the company through a period of massive growth during the pandemic, leading up to the IPO. At Thumbtack, I built the first version of a product that instantly matches homeowners with skilled professionals like contractors and electricians.
Earlier in my career, I honed my design skills at Tripadvisor and mid-size startups including Change.org and Highfive, where I developed my visual and interaction design craft, practiced prototyping, led research, and learned how to collaborate within product development teams.
I graduated from University of California, Davis with a BFA in Visual Communication Design, and I have Leadership training from Design Dept and Harvard Business School’s Leadership Consortium.
Originally from a farm in Sonoma, CA with goats, ponies, cats and dogs. My interests include health and wellness, AI, climate change, building community and supporting small businesses.
