Onboarding & Capturing Info for Marqeta Card
My role: Product Designer on Activation
The screens below showcase the Instacart Shopper onboarding flow at a high level. I split my time between the Shopper Experience team and the Activation team, which owned onboarding.
Though I did not design the end-to-end onboarding flow, I was responsible for optimizing this flow, with the goal of improving activation and conversion rates. I don’t have a full case study for this work since it wasn’t a big focus of mine.
The designs below showcase the Marqeta related pieces and how Instacart captures information from shoppers, which is used to send a physical Marqeta payment card to use at the grocery store. This flow also helps new shoppers seamlessly add a digital card as well.
